passing the boards

Prayer before study -
Lord, thank You for taking us through so many years of preparation. If this is Your will for us, guide us to fulfill it. Please help us to remember in our mind and in our hearts whatever we read and study today, to pass the exams, and to benefit our patients in the future. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Everyone studied diligently. Everyone prayed faithfully. Why do others pass board exams, while some do not? There is no answer that will satisfy us all.

I felt happy to pass, but some of my friends have to take the exam again in February, and it felt unfair. Fortunately, I was able to meet some of them a few days ago. They said that after the initial denial, then the anger, their optimism is returning. I think that's a good attitude for anyone to have.
